Nick Davies

Nick Davies graduated from Yale in 2024 as an ethics, politics and economics major with departmental honors. So far, his work at the CC Lab has focused on the feasibility of water procurement for carbon mineralization operations in Oregon and Washington, though he has also completed fieldwork for the Biologic Program and supported the Super Pollutants Program. Prior to joining the CC Lab, he interned at Cella Mineral Storage, a carbon mineralization startup operating in Kenya. His senior thesis investigated how global carbon pricing mechanisms might reconcile tensions between equity and efficacy. While a member of the Yale sailing team, Nick won consecutive national college sailing championships. 

In spring 2025, Nick paused his work at the CC Lab to fulfill his Swiss military service, where he passed selection and initial training for the country’s special forces.
